Offers Page
The 'Offers Page' is a new feature that is located on the Loyalty Now Admin Portal. It allows Program Operators to search, filter and view all offers in their program, whether they are Program or Merchant Offers.
Program Operators can also click on offers to check more details around a given offer from one convenient location, rather than having to search through individual merchants to check their offers.
What's more, Program Operators can use the 'Offers' page to create a Program Offer.
Offer Transaction Eligibility
Transaction eligibility is a new feature when creating a Program Offer. This feature expands on the existing minimum and maximum spend functionality. Program Operators can now choose between using a spend range or an exact amount.
Spend Range
The 'Spend Range' option is much like existing functionality, where an optional minimum spend and/or an optional maximum spend value can be entered, and only transactions that fall within this range will be rewarded.
Exact Amount Offer
Alternatively, a Program Operator can select 'Exact Amount', meaning that only a transaction of the exact value entered in the field will be rewarded. This feature can be used to encourage customers to spend money on a particular item which has a particular price.
Offer Boost
Offer Boosts are an exciting new feature which allows Program Operators to temporarily increase the rewards earned from a specific offer. Boosts can be Percentage Boosts (e.g. a 50% Boost would mean a reward 50% extra compared to the current offer) or Fixed Boosts (i.e. a fixed dollar or points value is given on top of the existing offer).
Boost Rules
Only Program Offers can be given Boosts (Merchant Offers and Baseline Offers cannot receive boosts)
Boosts have to be within an offer's start and end date
Creating Boosts
Boosts can be added to currently active offers by opening a specific offer page and clicking 'Add Offer Boost' at the top of the page.
Viewing Boosts
Boosts can be viewed on a Merchant's 'Offers' page in the 'Boosted' column.
The details of a boost can be viewed by clicking on a Boosted Offer and scrolling to the 'Offer Boosts' section.
Active State Program Default
Program operators can put Merchants automatically into active live state straight away when onboarded. The Merchants will be visible to the Members immediately when this is enabled. If this feature is enabled, Merchants will always be immediately visible to Members, and they will not be able to be scheduled to go live.
Auto-matched Refunds Per Merchant
The Loyalty Now Refunds functionality enables negative transactions to be auto-matched to positive transactions (as long as certain conditions are met). Now, Program Operators are able to choose if auto-matching occurs at a merchant level. This means a Program Operator could have various merchants with auto-matching switched on, and others with auto-matching switched off.
To toggle auto-matching on or off for individual Merchants, go to the Merchant - General page in the Admin Portal, scroll down to 'Merchant settings' and select from the drop-down list.
Bug Fixes
In this issue of Release Notes Loyalty Now noted nil system bugs.
