The API Keys menu item will provide you with the ability to create a new API connection in an instance. To access your API keys and create new keys just select the 'API Keys' item in the drop down menu.
The Admin API Keys page will allow you to:
View and revoke current keys
API Keys are security keys that allow you to gain access to information passed via an API. Publishable API keys are those that you can use in situations where you cannot keep the key secret, but they are limited in scope to only registering cards to the program.
Protected API keys are those that you must keep secret, they have elevated privileges and can make changes to your instance.
Create a new key
To create a new API Key simply select ‘create new key’.
Then enter the name of your new API key for reference, ensuring you note down the key as this information is not retained in the system.
