The Merchant CAID (also known as the MID) is a unique electronic Merchant number provided to all Merchants by their bank or payment processor, it is used for all transaction tracking and reconciliation. The CAID can often be found in the original email received by the Merchant at the time the Merchant Services account was opened or on their monthly Merchant statement.
